Youth leaves message on Facebook before death

THE 22-year-old youth who jumped from the 14th floor of an apartment block in Cheras at 3am on Thursday left a 45-minute countdown message on his Facebook page, Sin Chew Daily and China Press reported.

The daily also reported that Alviss Kong (pic), who died of serious injuries at about 9am the same day at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia also posted a note on his page saying a girl was cruel to him.
They reported that Kong was very sad after his girlfriend of four months broke up with him.
Sin Chew Daily reported that Cheras acting OCPD Supt Abdul Rahim Hamzah Othman as saying the case had been classified as sudden death.

Sin Chew Daily quoted him as saying that the ministry had in 2000 decided that only bilingual teachers be asked to teach the subject to Year One and Year Two pupils in Chinese primary schools.
